It’s hard to believe we’re approaching our fifth month of being open. We’re incredibly grateful for all the support we’ve received and delighted to see so many of you enjoying our food and sharing such positive feedback!
A look back at last year
Since September, we’ve sold over 600 cups of Karak chai and more than 1,000 meals 👀.
Considering the challenges we’ve faced – managing two kitchens and not being able to cook on-site – we’re absolutely thrilled with these results. Now that we’ve settled into a rhythm (and have even been added to Deliveroo!), we’re feeling ready to take on the year ahead.
Lessons learned & what’s to come
Starting a business is definitely not for the fainthearted, and we’ve found it increasingly challenging to operate without on-site cooking facilities. We’ve gotten quite creative with the oven, but there’s only so much we can do with it!
We’re hopeful we’ll have more clarity on the market move soon. Once that happens and we have the right facilities, we’re planning to expand our menu with items like parathas, desi omelettes, and more.
